Two Nights in a Row!!

I'm on fire!  WOWZER!

Two new recipes in one week!  I know...I'm living a dangerous life with picky eaters in this household...but when I saw how easy and simple this recipe was, I had to try it.  And after all, the time needed is in the title of the recipe....Ten Minute Beef Teriyaki!  The recipe boasts only 5 ingredients are needed to make this delicious meal...skeptical?  No way...not when I saw which ingredients.  It sounded so delicious that I knew I had to make it this week.

So here we are on Tuesday night....I'm fixing to prep for dinner...question is, does it really only need 10 minutes?  How long does it really take?

I tested this theory...I knew the rice in the Instant Pot would take a while to get the pressure out and then only 6 minutes to cook.  I started the Instant Pot and then started my timer for the beef teriyaki.

I started cooking at exactly 6:03 PM.  I added sliced bell peppers (red, yellow, and orange) when I put the beef, onions, ginger, and garlic on.

I stopped cooking and turned the burner off at 6:12 PM.  Even the Instant Pot timer went off at 6:11 PM.  This recipe is ridicuously easy and delicious!

Blair, from www.theseasonedmom.com suggests broccoli as a side for this dish.  I highly agree with her!  Next time, I'll add broccoli!  I'd also like to try it with ground turkey replacing the ground beef.

This was a great meal and super quick to make!  I'm two for two this week.  What's new cooking in your kitchen this week?  Drop a comment below!
